A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH
Having already traded, both mobile and static, for 14 years under the brand of the UK's Number One SMART repair franchise, the Spray Team became independent in September 2016. This close knit and friendly team have all worked together for some time, and collectively have over 50 years experience in the industry.
We can repair your scratches, all sizes of dents and scuffs, and we can refurbish your alloy wheels to a very high standard. We take professional pride in our dealings with customes and in the work that we produce, and are very competitively priced. All of our work is fully guaranteed and we specialise in an express turnaround, so we not only frequently save your insurance excess but also put your car back on the road on the same day, although slightly larger repairs may take longer. Our paint is matched to the manufacturer's code using colour chips and a spectrometer.
We also specialise in motorbike repairs.
Besides repairing dents and paintwork on cars and bikes, there are several other services that we offer such as
rear sensor installation
fitting of panels and lights
paintwork restoration etc.
The full list of our services can be seen at www.thesprayteam.org
The Spray Team are approved suppliers and fitters of Alloygator protective wheel rims. These hard wearing vinyl rims clip around the edge of the wheel without interfering with tyre changes, and take the brunt of any damage to the rim, protecting the wheel.
Alloys, particularly diamond milled ones, can be very expensive to repair. In fact there is a limit to how far a diamond milled wheel can be repaired as each repair involved shaving off the face of he alloy. These can cost over £100 - £150 per wheel, and, if they are scrunched beyond repair, a new alloy could cost up to £1000 so £120 + VAT to protect them seems a small price to pay :-)
HYDRO DIPPING Hydro dipping applies to a range of items. It involves applying a water ink transfer to any 3D object (so long as it is waterproof and can be immersed). It can be used to pattern customise bikes, motorbikes, wheels and hub caps, sport items from guns to fishing rods, and laptop cases, games consoles and mobile phone cases.
As well as vehicles, we can also respray radiators, doors and furniture to avoid those nasty brush strokes.
Finally we are also trained to apply Verometal - a true metal coating, which can transform an ordinary item into an Oscar. This is not a cheap process as it involves spraying real metal, not just metallic paint, but if you want a gold throne or doors like Mr Trump, or would like a bronzed bench, bathroom tiles or flooring, give us a call. The process can be artificially tarnished and aged as well.
