Hey guys, I am Gem. I am an Essex girl originally but I now live in Yorkshire with my husband and 2 children.

I decided to open an online kepsake store and started Lasting Touch after I was made redundant from my job as a breastfeeding peer supporter and trainer. I love working with children and new parents and wanted a business that would allow me to continue having contact with these people and giving something that would be really special to them.

I have been in business for over 12 years running my other sites Gem's Body Jewellery and 99p Body Jewellery. I am quite interested in alternative lifestyles and love meeting people from all kinds of backgrounds.

I am currently a member of The Keepsake Academy and have been training with Victoria Casebourne, founder of The Keepsake Co. As part of the academy I have access to the best supplier information so that I can bring you the highest quality materials and products.

I am still learning and there are some products I haven't mastered yet, if you see images on the site of products but don't see them listed for sale, it may be because I haven't learned them yet but I will be doing so soon.
